What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team-focused healthcare role where I can provide compassionate direct patient care, document accurately in MedNet EHR/EMR, support infection prevention and patient safety, and assist with patient scheduling and telephone triage.

I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who recently completed my training and clinical internship at The Nairobi West Hospital College of Health Sciences. During my internship, I gained hands-on experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy hospital environment. My responsibilities included assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring and documenting vital signs, supporting mobility and personal hygiene, infection prevention and control, maintaining accurate patient records using MedNet EHR/EMR, patient scheduling, and working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

I am certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association, which has strengthened my ability to respond confidently and effectively during medical emergencies. I also have knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA privacy principles, telephone patient support, and electronic health records, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

I am known for my compassion, professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and strive to make every patient feel respected, safe, and comfortable. My background in customer service has also helped me build strong interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

I am seeking opportunities as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, Medical Virtual Assistant, Care Coordinator, or Patient Support Specialist. My goal is to contribute to an organization that values high-quality patient care while continuing to develop my clinical knowledge and grow within the healthcare profession.

Outside of work, I enjoy continuous learning, volunteering, cooking, hiking, and staying updated on healthcare best practices to improve the quality of care I provide.
