Lily Barahona

I’m a GIS professional with a strong background in spatial analysis, data management, and cartographic production. I work with complex geospatial datasets to deliver dependable, high-quality GIS solutions across different industries using tools such as QGIS and ArcGIS.

Since Feb 2023, I’ve supported the analysis, projection, and review of technical reports for prioritized properties to guide execution in coordination with the contract supervisor. I also provide support in generating cadastral and physical information to produce cartographic inputs for the Directorate of Management of the Social Order of Property DGOSP.

Across projects, I’ve handled geospatial data cleaning and validation, geoprocessing, and transformation management while preparing and updating technical property reports (real estate reports) and micro-targeting reports. I contribute to technical reporting and GIS documentation, including daily preliminary polygon locations and updating cartographic information in registration systems for restitution applications.

Earlier work strengthened my end-to-end cartography workflow: digitizing and updating bases using optic and radar orthoimages, ortho-photo-mosaics, and radar mosaics, plus metadata preparation and consistent map communication (layouts, symbology, print-ready outputs). I bring a detail-driven mindset, clear documentation, and collaboration through technical boards and inter-institutional meetings.
