Laiba Raheen

I’m a dedicated and compassionate medical officer with a strong academic foundation and hands-on clinical training. I approach every case with a growth mindset, continuously strengthening both my clinical knowledge and the way I communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Through my MBBS and my “Position and Distinction” achievements in second professional exams, I built a disciplined base in Biochemistry, General Pathology, and Pharmacology. During my house job at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre, I rotated through Accident and Emergency, General Medicine (Ward-06), General Surgery (Ward-26), and Gynae and Obs (Ward-08), learning how to stay mature, quick, and accurate under pressure.

I also gained targeted experience as an RMO in Peads Urology at SIUT (Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation), alongside electives at Children’s Hospital Karachi (Medicine), Radiology and Cyber-Knife Tomotherapy at JPMC, and Emergency and Accident Department exposure where I practiced patient prioritization and fast, careful treatment. I actively engage in camps, workshops, and conferences—like airway management training and prenatal genetic diagnosis in low-resource settings—and I’m motivated to contribute as I keep learning.
