What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an Information Security Engineer or SOC role where I can monitor, investigate, and respond to security events, build cloud security skills, and pursue certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.

I'm pursuing an Information Security Engineer role after completing hands-on network intrusion detection and AWS cloud security monitoring projects.

In my Network Traffic Analysis and Intrusion Detection project, I monitored real-time traffic, tuned Snort rules, and used Wireshark and Zeek to investigate suspicious activity through SOC-style workflows.

I also designed a secured AWS environment across EC2, IAM, and S3, using CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and Security Hub for continuous monitoring and alerting. I configured least-privilege IAM policies and MFA to strengthen access control and reduce attack surface.

My foundation includes risk assessment, vulnerability management, threat modeling, Linux, SQL, Python, Java, and JavaScript. I'm eager to contribute in a 24x7 SOC environment while continuing toward security certifications.
