What I'm looking for

My goal is to contribute to addressing major and minor public health concerns among families and communities in Tanzania.

At Henry Jackson Foundation, Medical Research International, I worked as a Laboratory Program Officer supporting HIV interventions and laboratory systems in Tanzania’s Southern Highlands. I oversaw HIV program indicators and worked with regional and council health management teams on planning and resource allocation.

I strengthened quality improvement systems in supported health facilities and practiced the Quality Management System, helping maintain Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital TB Laboratory accreditation. I also provided technical assistance, supervision, and training to health care workers on laboratory testing, documentation, and equipment maintenance.

My laboratory experience includes TB smear microscopy, GeneXpert, TB culture, and Line Probe Assay, as well as DNA extraction and real-time PCR. I hold a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, and I’m a certified HIV tester and GeneXpert machines super user.
