At Nachingwea district Hospital, I conduct patient examinations, assess symptoms, and develop treatment plans based on scientific knowledge and medical history. I also prescribe treatment and interpret lab results.
I examine and treat chronic conditions, refer patients to other physicians when needed, and perform surgeries and procedures in theatre. I give patients advice on healthy habits.
I work with the district AIDS coordinator to share materials on AIDS care and treatment with primary health care facilities. I also participate in compiling and submitting HIV AIDS and PMTCT reports.
Earlier, as an Intern doctor at Sumbawanga regional referral hospital, I provided patient care and performed surgeries and procedures under supervision. My work there also included HIV testing and treatment services, and TB screening and treatment.
