Komal Sanghvi

I’m a Design & Development professional with 2.5 years of experience managing couture atelier floors and coordinating 28-person teams of tailors, pattern cutters, and embroiderers for Paris Haute Couture Week. I’ve delivered 35 couture looks, a 50-look national showcase for the Ministry of Textiles, plus a prêt-à-porter launch and a menswear debut.

At Vaishali S Couture, I’ve owned the end-to-end workflow from development and sampling through QC and final delivery. I led production of 50 looks + décor installations for National Handloom Day at The Ashok, New Delhi, and co-led design, sourcing, and weave research to revive 30 traditional handloom weaves for the Femina Miss India 2026 finale—built around fast turnaround and quality consistency at large scale.

I also co-led two new product launches, including the first-ever prêt-à-porter line (Tranoï, Paris) and the first-ever menswear line (Nov 2025), covering sourcing, sampling, and QC end-to-end. I document and optimize costing, line sheets, and inventory workflows to cut turnaround times, using tools to analyze data, generate design variations, and support patternmaking assistance; earlier, as a Circular Research & Design Intern at La Almaari, I developed a 12-piece circular collection and supported Lakmé Fashion Week’s Circular Design Challenge.
