Kofi Barton-Byfield

I am Kofi Barton-Byfield, an aspiring data scientist currently pursuing my M.Sc. in Applied Social Data Science at Trinity College, Dublin. With a solid foundation in mathematics from the University of Exeter, where I graduated with Upper Second-Class Honours, I have developed a keen interest in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques. My academic journey has equipped me with the skills necessary to tackle complex data challenges and derive meaningful insights.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained practical experience as a Mathematics Tutor, where I provided personalized lessons that significantly improved my students' understanding and performance. My role as Treasurer for the Exeter University Rugby Club allowed me to hone my organizational and financial management skills, while my time as a professional rugby player with the Exeter Chiefs and Bath Rugby has instilled in me a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments. I am eager to leverage my analytical skills and teamwork experience in a data-driven role.
