Kiyah Johnson
@kiyahjohnson
Elementary and Pre-K educator who strengthens diverse learners through data-driven instruction and supportive classrooms.
What I'm looking for
I’m an educator with experience teaching PreK through 3rd grade, including general education inclusion. I focus on creating safe, nurturing, and engaging classrooms where young learners can grow academically and socially.
In my roles as an Inclusion Teacher and Grade Level Chair, I analyzed school data, developed weekly lesson plans, and monitored progress of all students. I worked closely with special education teachers to support modifications, adaptations, and differentiated assignments, while leading weekly progress monitoring for RTI Tier 3 students and attending IEP meetings.
I also bring strong classroom leadership and communication skills—from reviewing lesson plans and maintaining organized learning spaces to integrating technology and using Work Sampling Online (WSO). I prioritize parent/guardian partnership through consistent updates, conferences, and responsible home-school communication.
I’m energetic and detail-oriented, with a commitment to professionalism, flexibility, and strong problem-solving. My goal is to keep learning environments welcoming and structured, so every student can participate, improve, and succeed.
