At Kenyatta National Hospital, I provide nursing care to critically ill medical-surgical patients, assessing their needs and implementing care plans. I monitor vital signs and diagnostic results, identify changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions.
I administer complex medications and IV therapy, operate equipment such as cardiac monitors and infusion pumps, and respond to emergencies. I also assist physicians during procedures and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
Previously, at PALMCARE SINAI HOSPITAL, I cared for medical-surgical patients and supported them through treatment, surgery, and recovery. I educated patients and families about disease management and self-care, and worked with the interdisciplinary team on individualized care plans.
