At Orange, I automated the conversion of incoming emails into concise spoken insights, making critical communications more accessible while reducing information-processing effort. I engineered a production-oriented NLP service using BERT, NLTK, IMAP, Linux scheduling, and Docker.
At Speedykom GmbH, I developed an AI-powered malaria outbreak prediction system in collaboration with GIZ for health organizations in Ethiopia. I integrated environmental, health, socio-economic, geospatial, and NASA satellite data into machine-learning models, then translated predictive outputs into public-health monitoring and visualization tools.
As a Data Science Intern at Poulina Group Holding, I automated unstructured invoice processing, increasing data-extraction efficiency by 300%, and developed a forecasting model for upcoming invoice amounts. I deployed the solution through Django and validated it across diverse invoice formats.
My other work includes developing a credit-scoring model as a Risk Modeler Intern at BFI GROUP and a voice- and text-based banking chatbot as an AI Developer Intern at BIAT. I also enjoy chess, playing piano and guitar, and running a handmade venture creating and selling wooden relics.
