I am looking for a role that allows me to apply my engineering skills while contributing to a team-oriented environment focused on innovation and growth.

My name is Kevin Lara, and I am currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of California San Diego. My journey has been enriched by various roles that have honed my skills in customer service, sales, and engineering. I have had the privilege of working alongside professionals in different sectors, from physical therapy at UCSD to systems engineering at Northrop Grumman.

In my most recent role as an Inside Sales Representative at Dexcom, I was recognized as one of the top 10 sales representatives for my ability to exceed sales goals and implement strategies that enhanced productivity. My experience in the hospitality industry, particularly at Hotel Marina Inn and Nordstrom, has equipped me with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. I am eager to leverage my background and skills in a challenging engineering role.
