Kerstan Deering

I've built my nursing career at Prince of Peace Care Center, Good Samaritan Society, and Prairie Hights Health Care–Eduro, providing hands-on patient care and supporting admissions, assessments, and documentation.

At Prairie Hights, I work primarily in rehabilitation with skilled patients and coordinate with hospitals and doctors to provide the best care possible. I also assist my DON with paperwork and assessments.

During the COVID-19 shortage in Fargo, I was one of the only nurses in the building. That experience strengthened my computer, paperwork, communication, and ability to perform under pressure.

I'm currently a nursing supervisor who delegates tasks, provides comfort, and redirects employees and family members when needed. I love nursing, value safety, and want opportunities to keep expanding my skills.
