Environmental regulatory professional improving public health and water compliance through inspections.
What I'm looking for
I’m a highly motivated and dependable environmental science and public health professional with a focus on inspections & investigations, analytical thinking, and problem solving. I consistently identify compliance risks and implement solutions that protect public health and water resources.
As a Regulatory Professional (11/2023 – Present), I perform compliance reviews and inspections of permitted entities, conduct surveillance and aerial reconnaissance, and respond to public inquiries and complaints. I review blueprint specifications and engineering/environmental reports to determine compliance with permit conditions, negotiate project changes, and complete written reports for permit violations, settlements, and agreements.
Previously, I served as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist (04/2023 – 10/2023), where I assisted with regulatory compliance program development, built manuals and procedures aligned with state and federal rules, and interpreted laboratory data for monitoring and enforcement reporting. Before that, as an Inspector Specialist (11/2020 – 03/2023), I enforced state laws through regulatory inspections and investigations across MMTC facilities, documenting findings with evidence-based written reports.
I also bring strong leadership and training experience from my earlier Environmental Specialist roles, including leading the childcare inspection program, training new staff on inspection and complaint procedures, and performing plan reviews and health & safety consultations. My work extends into disease surveillance and epidemiological data collection and analysis, alongside investigations of food-borne illness outbreaks and sanitary nuisance complaints.
