What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build applied AI and intelligent systems, especially LLM, machine learning, and production backend products with real-world impact.

I've built AI-powered systems for the Ethiopian Red Cross Society, including an Emergency Operations Center situational awareness platform with LLM pipelines for news categorization, incident extraction, and daily AI briefings. I also built automated data ingestion from KoBoToolbox field reports and multiple news sources.

At iCog Labs, I contribute to Neurograph and build neuro-symbolic AI, multimodal RAG, and knowledge-graph pipelines. As a freelance backend developer, I'm building a multi-role laboratory sample management system with RBAC, JWT authentication, and 200+ automated tests, while also developing products such as AtlasED, Manimator, Stork, and Telhound.

Contributed to Neurograph, working on neuro-symbolic AI systems that trace and explain their own reasoning. Built a history-aware, multimodal RAG system returning source page images alongside answers, and implemented an N-gram language model and a character-level GPT Transformer from scratch in PyTorch.
