I've been building software professionally since 2008, starting at Condé Nast where I spent about a decade designing and shipping web applications for brands like Vogue, Bon Appétit, and Golf Digest. A lot of that work involved automating editorial workflows and building internal tools that people actually used every day, including a scoring system for Golf Digest's best-of lists that served 1,200 reviewers over multiple years.
After Condé Nast I moved to Cubic Transportation Systems, where I worked on transit technology across web and mobile. I built a Flutter authentication module that integrated with AWS Cognito, maintained serverless backend services on Lambda and API Gateway, and developed WCAG accessibility testing automation using Appium and Dart. I also picked up GitHub Copilot as a daily part of my workflow for prototyping, refactoring, and code review.
My strongest tools right now are Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS on the cloud side. I've shipped production applications in Angular, AngularJS, Ember, and PHP, and built professionally with Flutter, Node.js, Express, Java, and Python. I have a BA in Computer Science from Drexel University with a focus in human-computer interaction and relational database theory.
