Dedicated physician assistant specializing in neurological care and education.
What I'm looking for
I am a self-motivated and organized leader with a passion for providing optimal neurological care. With extensive experience as a Physician Assistant, I have dedicated my career to evaluating and treating patients with complex headache disorders and sleep disorders. My commitment to patient education and long-term management strategies has significantly improved the quality of life for many of my patients.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with subspecialized neurologists and neurosurgeons, performing various in-office procedures such as Botox injections and nerve blocks. I have been recognized for my contributions to the field, including being named the 2018 Physician Assistant of the Year by the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants. My leadership roles, including founding the Barrow Neurological Advanced Practice Faculty Council, showcase my dedication to advancing the practice of neurology.
In addition to my clinical work, I have actively participated in research and education, presenting at national conferences and contributing to publications that aim to debunk myths surrounding headache disorders. I am committed to continuous learning and development, as evidenced by my Doctorate of Medical Sciences and my involvement in various professional organizations.
