Karen Aoun

I've taught Arabic language and social studies across primary and middle-school classrooms in Lebanon, including at the National Evangelical School in Kfarshima and Al-Hadath School of Competencies.

I design interactive lessons that build creative expression and linguistic analysis, using active learning, play-based learning, visual and audio resources, and blended-learning approaches. I analyze ongoing assessments to create individualized support plans and help every student progress academically.

My work includes supporting learners with autism, physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and special educational needs in inclusive classroom environments. I also maintain communication with parents to strengthen the partnership between school and home.

I'm trained in using AI for innovative educational content and in Canva design for educational and visual materials. I bring classroom management, teamwork, communication, Arabic, French, English, MS Office, activInspire, and digital-content tools to my teaching practice.
