Hi, I'm Kaniqua Thomas, a dedicated childcare professional with extensive experience in nurturing and educating children. My journey began at NAF, Langley Air Force Base, where I have been a Child and Youth Program Assistant since June 2014. In this role, I have successfully planned and conducted activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. I take pride in promoting positive interactions and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for all children under my care.
In addition to my work at the Air Force Base, I have served as a Nursery Worker at Phoebus United Methodist Church and as a Self Enrichment Education Teacher for the City of Hampton. These experiences have honed my skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and effective communication with parents and staff.
