Experimental neuroscientist translating behavioral data into actionable insights.
What I'm looking for
I am an experimental neuroscientist with a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi and international research training, focused on the neurobiology of aging and decision-making. My work combines rodent behavioural paradigms with molecular and circuit-level assays to address translational questions.
During my Ph.D. I investigated decision-making under neurodegenerative conditions using a rodent Iowa Gambling Task and analyzed hippocampal circuitry in aged and lesioned rat models. I have hands-on experience with stereotactic surgery, immunohistochemistry, fiber photometry, and automated tracking tools including DeepLabCut and AnyMaze.
I have contributed to cross-laboratory projects during a fellowship-supported placement at Sorbonne Université and have research experience at the Waisman Center (University of Wisconsin–Madison) and NIBMG. My publications and conference presentations reflect strengths in experimental design, quantitative analysis, and translational approaches.
I am experienced in mentoring students, teaching cognitive and biological psychology courses, and managing complex research workflows. I am seeking industry-facing or application-oriented scientific roles where I can apply behavioural models, neurobiological assays, and quantitative analysis to drive solutions.
