Justin Rose
@justinrose
Cybersecurity analyst with 20 years' law enforcement and incident response leadership.
What I'm looking for
I am a cybersecurity-focused law enforcement leader with 20 years of combined military and civilian experience, specializing in incident response, digital forensics, and operational security. I maintain a Master Peace Officer License and hold technical certifications that complement my hands-on investigative background.
In supervisory roles I have overseen patrol and jail operations, managed chain of custody for digital and physical evidence, coordinated training programs, and worked closely with IT teams on audits, permissions, account provisioning, and secure equipment deployment. I operate and secure RMS, CAD/dispatch, body-worn and in-car video systems, and other evidence management platforms.
I bring practical expertise in SIEM/log analysis, network security (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls), OSINT, vulnerability scanning, and virtualization, and I am eager to apply this blend of technical and leadership experience to a Cyber Security Analyst role focused on threat analysis, incident response, and improving organizational security posture.
