What I'm looking for

I want to teach and lecture in Catholic theology and Religious Studies, with room to build inclusive learning—especially for learners on the autism spectrum—while connecting faith with culture, sacred art, and rigorous academic inquiry.

I am a Catholic Religious Studies teacher and theology lecturer, driven by a simple conviction: education should form hearts and minds while meeting learners where they are. I currently teach Religious Studies at secondary level and lecture in Theology at the University of Malta.

My teaching work includes Foundations of Catholic Theology and Artistic Treasures of the Knights of St. John, as well as long-term experience in Advanced Level Religious Knowledge. Alongside this, I have served as a part-time lecturer in Art History, bringing sacred culture and history into dialogue with faith and learning.

I also contribute to the academic and public conversation through publications and media. My articles include “Integral Human Development in the Educational Vision of Pope Francis” (Theology and Philosophy of Education, TAPE) and “Sacred Art, Epistemology, and the Formation of Wonder in Catholic Education” (LOGOS), and I have appeared in podcast discussions such as “The Pentateuch,” “The Exodus,” and “Philosophical Discussion.”

My doctoral pathway focuses on inclusion: my proposed Ph.D. thesis is “Enhancing Religious Education for Children on the Autism Spectrum in Year 6.” I approach my vocation as a theologian and educator who values clarity, wonder, and practical formation—so that religious education remains meaningful, accessible, and transformative.
