Jubayer Hossain

I’m a qualified Officer of the Watch (OOW – Class 3 Unlimited), certified by the Department of Shipping, Bangladesh. I bring structured cadetship and shipboard experience focused on disciplined bridge operations, navigation, cargo operations, and safety.

My sea service includes 14.5 months of structured cadetship aboard a Handymax Bulk Carrier, with hands-on work in navigation and bridge watchkeeping. I’m trained to follow safety procedures carefully and to perform with competence and integrity in a professional maritime environment.

I’ve completed strong STCW-focused training such as bridge resource management and electronic navigation systems (including ECDIS and operational use of radar navigation). I’m also prepared for emergencies through survival techniques, first aid, fire prevention and firefighting, and security awareness training.

Beyond traditional deck competencies, I’ve built a foundation in cyber security through my “Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking Arena” training. I’m motivated to contribute to safe, reliable ship operations while continuously developing my technical skills in a challenging, growth-oriented team.
