I’m applying for the Statistics Officer II position at the Agriculture and Food Authority because I’m driven to turn reliable data into actionable insights for the agricultural sector.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, and that training strengthened my statistical analysis, data management, and quantitative research skills. Through my experience, I’ve developed proficiency in data collection, data analysis, report preparation, and interpreting statistical information with a focus on accuracy.

I’m confident working with large datasets and presenting findings clearly, with strong capability in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools. I’m especially interested in applying these strengths to collecting and collating data on scheduled crops, monitoring value chains, and conducting market surveys while protecting data integrity.

My previous roles in data entry, financial administration, and customer service have strengthened my organization, confidentiality, and ability to work with diverse teams. I’m a fast learner, highly organized, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively to deliver quality results.
