I’m an ACA-qualified chartered accountant with four years of external audit experience at Deloitte, where I focused on financial statement review with a strong attention to detail. I combine rigorous reconciliation and discrepancy resolution with the judgement to spot inaccuracies across complex financial reporting.

In my audits for complex, high-value FTSE-listed clients in energy, renewables, transport, and infrastructure, I challenged management on findings by cross-referencing financial models, expert reports, and third-party supporting documentation. I reviewed financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP, applying technical accounting knowledge to ensure figures were supportable.

I also assessed the completeness and accuracy of key financial information and evaluated the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across billing, impairment, accounts payable, and accounts receivable cycles. From risk assessments and audit planning through to tailored audit procedures, I maintained strong prioritisation under tight deadlines.

As a primary client contact, I managed expectations across stakeholders and coordinated deliverables with overseas colleagues across multiple time zones. I’ve supported and developed junior team members through delegation, on-the-job coaching, and performance feedback, backed by strong cross-functional communication.
