At BanEcuador B.P., I led the management of physical and digital channels, including ATMs, online and mobile banking, and remittance projects. I coordinated initiatives such as Transfer Union, Banca Empresa, and the modernization of EasyCashCore.
At Ministerio de Producción, Comercio Exterior, Inversiones y Pesca, I led technology strategy focused on modernizing institutional systems and improving interoperability. I supervised integrations with DINARP and other government entities, as well as digital platforms for export management.
At Grupo Financiero Banco del Pacifico, I led fraud prevention across accounts and credit and debit cards, and worked on controls, monitoring, and mitigation tools including Sentinel NG, VRM-VSM-VISA, FRM, and ETHOCA. Earlier, I worked on transaction-switch systems and payment certifications at Grupo Financiero Banco del Pacifico and Pacificard S.A., including the 2013 certification and launch of the EMV chip product.
My work spans payment authorization, fraud prevention, and banking technology, with a focus on ISO 8583, transaction switches, and financial compliance. I also received Mastercard Internacional’s “1326 - Greatest Positive Change In Compliance Award” for data integrity work.
