Jordi Pérez Calderó

I’m an Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineer with a passion for control systems, automation, process organization (Lean Manufacturing), and electronic circuit design. I’m committed to innovation, sustainability, and efficiency, using engineering to build intelligent, high-impact technical solutions.

Through my studies in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering, I’ve developed a strong foundation in control design and theory. I earned outstanding grades including “Control Design and Robotics – 9.8” and deep knowledge across topics like Basic Control Theory, Discrete Processes, Circuit Theory, and Numerical Methods.

Right now, I’m combining academics and practical engineering: as a researcher in a BIR Fellowship (Beca d’Introducció a la Recerca), I participate in a project focused on robotics and control electronics, working with simulation, modeling, and control system development. In parallel, I’m an Electrical and Software Engineering Intern at Ros Roca, contributing to software solutions for industrial waste management vehicles, including control systems, technical documentation, validation, and testing of vehicle-mounted equipment.

I also bring team leadership and operational rigor. As Treasurer at IAESTE Lleida (managed budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning), I support efficient resource allocation while maintaining transparency and strong collaboration.
