Jordan Fernberg
@jordanfernberg
CNC machinist transitioning to part design and CNC programming.
What I'm looking for
I am a CNC machinist with three years of hands-on experience operating Haas milling machines to produce precision parts for military and aerospace applications. I have strong skills in measuring and documenting parts to blueprints, applying GD&T, and using QA tools such as CMMs, dial indicators, and height gauges.
I am actively pursuing a Manufacturing Technology Certificate with coursework in AutoCAD and SolidWorks and have contributed to collaborative design projects like a laptop stand/case and a tool holder, including 3D printing and laser cutting. I document SOPs, support lab equipment troubleshooting, and have experience in warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
I aim to transition into a Part Designer or CNC Programmer role where I can combine practical machining experience, CAD skills, and process documentation to improve part quality and shop efficiency while continuing to grow my design and programming capabilities.
