John Walugembe

On KYIROV Digital Opportunities Platform, I worked on a web platform for job discovery, employer information, country directories, project records and research listings. My work included PHP development, database-backed search interfaces and integrating third-party job information.

For Akina Mama wa Afrika, I developed online data-collection tools supporting work across parts of East Africa, West Africa and the Horn of Africa. I also developed supporting information systems for Makerere University Directorate of Quality Assurance, including admissions, electronic theses and dissertations, graduate searches, timetables, facilities and student evaluation of teaching.

I've worked on database-driven online services related to food discovery, financial cooperative information, examinations, mathematics education and book discovery. I'm seeking part-time or project-based remote work improving existing Core PHP and MySQL applications, including troubleshooting, code changes, data collection improvements, database work and API integration.
