What I'm looking for

I want to keep building production-ready backend systems in Java/Spring Boot microservices—shipping REST APIs end to end, partnering on API contracts, and improving reliability, performance, and testing within Agile/Scrum teams.

I build scalable backend systems with Java 17, Spring Boot, and microservices—most recently designing RESTful APIs that connect to PostgreSQL and MySQL.

At Decagon, I implemented Spring Security authentication and JWT token management, optimized Hibernate mappings and database queries, and helped cut average API response times by 25%.

I’ve also shipped production apps across the stack: at Spectsports I led React and Next.js frontend work, delivered React Native iOS/Android apps, and partnered on API contracts and integration testing.

Outside work, I founded StudyPaddy and operate the full stack in production using Spring Security (JWT), PostgreSQL with Flyway migrations, and RESTful APIs, and I’m building FreshMatch with a Spring Boot backend that scores postings using the Anthropic (Claude) API.
