I seek a role that allows me to inspire students and engage in community advocacy.

I am Dr. Joela Lewis, a dedicated historian with a Ph.D. in Transnational & Comparative History. With over a decade of teaching experience at various institutions, I have developed a robust curriculum that engages students in the complexities of modern America and Europe. My academic journey has been marked by a commitment to fostering critical thinking and historical inquiry among students.

Throughout my career, I have held several key positions, including Director of Upper School at St. George Academy and Department Chair at Dixie State University. My achievements include the creation of new academic departments and the development of multiple degree programs. I am passionate about community outreach and have actively participated in initiatives that promote awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy.
