Jimkelly Nzioka

I’m a mobile developer with four years of professional experience building production-grade cross-platform Flutter applications for both European and Kenyan markets. I like owning the full product lifecycle—from UI to state management, API integration, and deployment—so the app ships ready for users.

As the Founder and Lead Developer of Halvari Technologies, I took a Flutter and Dart property listings app from concept to shipped product for the Kenyan market. I architected the app with Riverpod for state management and GoRouter for navigation, keeping a clean separation of domain, data, and presentation layers.

I enjoy building complex, user-focused features: I implemented custom icon rendering with CustomPainter, interactive Mapbox-based maps with fuzzy location visibility, SQLite-backed listing drafts, and multi-step listing creation flows. On the backend side, I integrated a PostgreSQL-powered stack via Supabase for authentication, real-time data, and push notifications with FCM, plus REST API consumption from the Flutter client.

I’ve also built in remote, fast-moving teams—co-founding and shipping a hotel booking web application with React and Next.js, and leading mobile development for a Flutter parking services app. My work has been recognized at ETHGlobal Brussels (Most Creative Use Case and 2nd Place for Best zkdApp), and I bring that same execution mindset to every iteration and release.
