I provide person-centred care that supports clients’ dignity, comfort, and safety every day. In my current role, I assist with personal hygiene and getting dressed while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

I support both physical and social needs by completing physical exercises with clients and taking clients to appointments with social support. I also perform general cleaning duties, administer medication if required, and keep records while reporting to other healthcare professionals.

During clinical placement under Registered Nurse supervision, I delivered person-centred care for acute and post-operative patients. I assisted with pre- and post-operative care, including wound assessment, dressing changes, pain management support, and patient monitoring.

I recorded vital signs and blood glucose levels, maintained accurate clinical documentation, and assisted with activities of daily living (ADLs) at all times. I also followed medication safety practices (including the 11 rights of medication safety) and worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to support recovery and discharge planning.
