Jemuel Francis Ilagan

I’m Jemuel Francis M. Ilagan, with more than 4 years of cumulative experience spanning Maintenance Engineer work and then transitioning into the AEC industry as a Structural/Piping Shop Engineer and Field Engineer. I collaborate closely with QC Oil and Gas Inspectors, Superintendents, Foremen, Steel Fitters, Blasters, and Painters to keep both site and shop execution aligned.

In my current Structural / Piping Shop Engineer & Field Engineer role (Atlantic Gulf and Pacific Co. of Manila, Inc., Philippines), I check and verify drawings and specifications, confirm current revisions approved for fabrication, and inspect layout, edge preparation, and welded joints ahead of non-destructive testing. I also perform surface profile measurement and DFT measurement to support coating requirements, define “hold” points, and prepare daily accomplishment reports, monitoring/tracking tools, and project status updates using man-hour and productivity data.

I’ve worked across onshore and offshore/onshore scopes including Oil and Gas, Petrochem, Infrastructure, and Offshore Modularization. I’m familiar with international codes and standards such as American Standard (AS), BS, ISO, SSPC, and Shell DEPs, and I’m proficient with CAD/BIM tools like AutoCAD, Revit, AVEVA E3D, Tekla Structures, Solidworks, and Navisworks—so I can support detailed engineering, fabrication readiness, and accurate as-built/redline documentation.
