What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an academic clinician role where I can lead colorectal and digestive surgery practice while advancing clinical research, publishing, and teaching. I want an environment that supports surgical education and patient safety.

I’m a general surgeon and academic clinician with a subspecialty focus in colorectal, digestive oncologic, emergency, and minimally invasive surgery. I actively contribute to surgical research, peer-reviewed literature, and academic teaching, with a record of authorship in indexed publications.

In my current role at Taher Maamouri University Hospital (Nabeul, Tunisia), I serve as an Assistant Professor and University Physician of Visceral and Digestive Surgery. I’ve trained through medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis (University of Tunis El Manar), followed by residency in General Surgery, and advanced colorectal studies.

My academic output includes 20+ peer-reviewed international publications (2021–2026), including first-author work in colorectal surgery, emergency surgery, and rare surgical conditions. I also present frequently—more than 80 oral presentations, posters, and surgical video presentations—at national and international surgical meetings.

I’m committed to scholarly rigor and collaboration, contributing as a Reviewing Editor with Springer Nature and as a reviewer for international surgical and medical journals. My professional ethos centers on clinical excellence, patient-focused safety, and continuous surgical education.
