At Pocket Development Consulting, I work with founders and clients to turn business problems into working products, from discovery and architecture through build, deployment, and support. I founded the consultancy and handle client delivery, including rescuing inherited codebases and directing AI coding agents through implementation and testing.
I co-founded Tax Trove, a practice-management platform for South African tax practitioners, and developed it as the sole developer across UI/UX, frontend, backend, billing, and deployment. Since its adoption, my accountant co-founder has grown her practice from about 350 to over 400 clients with the same two staff, while cutting admin time by about 50%; I’ve also built AI-enabled client products, including a guided LinkedIn profile tool and a financial planning app.
