What I'm looking for

I'm seeking opportunities to strengthen federal system security through FISMA compliance, RMF authorization, continuous monitoring, vulnerability remediation, audit readiness, and cross-functional risk governance.

I've supported National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute systems since 2015, currently maintaining security authorization documentation and Ongoing Authorization assessments across a federal system portfolio.

I manage POA&Ms through remediation, draft waivers and risk acceptance memos, coordinate audit evidence and remediation, and monitor ISVM and patch-management requirements. I also work with Privacy, Legal, Information Governance, system administrators, and Authorizing Officials to keep security decisions aligned with documented risk.

As a Lead Systems Security Analyst, I led NIST SP 800-53A control assessments, supported 90% of managed systems in obtaining Authorization to Operate, and mentored junior analysts on RMF documentation standards.

Earlier, I reduced vulnerability findings by 40% through POA&M governance and helped reduce system outages by 30% through risk-based change management at Navy Federal Credit Union.
