Jasmine Wong
@jasminewong
Computer engineering technology student focused on embedded systems and hardware design.
What I'm looking for
I am a computer engineering technology student with hands-on experience in embedded systems, analog circuit design, and automation. I combine microcontroller programming with practical hardware design to build reliable, tested systems.
My projects include an Arduino Nano-based automatic pet feeder with precise load-cell dispensing and RTC scheduling, and an active three-band audio equalizer using TL072 op-amps for low-noise performance. I emphasize signal integrity, reliability, and power management in my designs.
I have implemented control systems using stepper drivers (A4988), sensor integration (HX711), and user interfaces (I2C LCD), and I write maintainable code in C++ for embedded and desktop applications. I am experienced with MATLAB for algorithm design and data analysis, and with circuit simulation tools like NI Multisim.
I take a methodical approach to testing and debugging, demonstrated by extensive subsystem validation and iteration to improve system reliability and efficiency. I seek opportunities to contribute to embedded hardware and firmware teams where I can continue developing practical, production-ready solutions.
