What I'm looking for

I seek a collaborative environment that values innovative research and teaching.

As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, Media, and Culture at Coastal Carolina University, I am passionate about exploring the intricate dynamics of crisis communication and its impact on organizational reputation. My academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri, where I focused on the effects of negative employee-organization relationships on reputation and employee behavior. My research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, showcasing my commitment to advancing the field of communication.

In addition to my research, I have extensive teaching experience, having developed and taught a variety of courses ranging from Organizational Communication to Public Relations. I have also secured multiple grants aimed at enhancing our understanding of emotional crisis communication and its implications for organizations. My dedication to fostering a supportive learning environment is reflected in my mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students, guiding them through their academic and professional journeys.
