James Matteson

I am a film and video editor with a BFA in Film/Television Production from DePaul University and hands-on experience editing red carpet interviews, behind-the-scenes content, documentaries, and narrative short films.

My work ranges from adapting editorial articles into video, producing social and long-form content for clients, and collaborating on feature and short projects where I handled pacing, color correction, and audio design to shape the final story.

I bring practical social media and production experience from roles at Gracia Inc, Hollywood Insider and International Children's Media Center and I am driven to join creative teams that value strong storytelling, collaboration, and craft-focused postproduction.
