At Mulago National Referral Hospital, I provided nursing care and supervised and mentored junior clinical staff. My experience in clinical settings also includes Lakony Medical Centre and Entebbe General Hospital.
With Provide and Equip Ltd, I have supported Ministry of Health and WHO coverage surveys and multi-agency evaluations as a field enumerator and supervisor. On the MenAfriVac vaccination coverage survey, I worked on an assignment covering 39 districts in Uganda.
For the Ministry of Health’s LLINs Mass Distribution Campaign, I developed monitoring and evaluation plans and tools, monitored implementation and data quality, trained teams, and compiled reports and lessons learned. I have also assessed local government performance for the Office of the Prime Minister.
My bachelor’s research examined medical workers’ knowledge, attitudes and practices towards medical waste management at Gulu Regional Referral Hospital. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Clarke International University, and I use ODK, KoboCollect, REDCap, SPSS and STATA for public health data collection and analysis.
