Looking for a job

Jakub Bartoska

@jakubbartoska

Java backend developer at Deutsche Börse who designed APIs and database tables for financial-market systems.

What I'm looking for

I'm open to remote B2B contracts within the EU (CET) and hybrid roles in Prague or Hradec Králové.

At Deutsche Börse, I worked on a high-performance calculation core for financial-market systems and supporting configuration modules. I designed APIs and database tables, and analyzed and implemented features across the modules.

The system’s six modules ran on OpenShift (Kubernetes) and communicated over REST and JMS. Some exposed APIs to internal systems or consumed APIs owned by other teams.

At Ematiq, I worked on a real-time sports-betting system processing large volumes of data. Its services ran across several JVMs, communicated through Akka, and passed data via Kafka topics.

Earlier, I developed applications for hospitals at Infor and the pricelessspecials.cz e-commerce platform at Moro Systems (Wincor Nixdorf). I’m open to remote B2B contracts within the EU (CET) and hybrid roles in Prague or Hradec Králové.
