I’m looking for a senior backend or Platform Engineering roles where I can build and scale products end-to-end. I enjoy distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and applying AI in production. I prefer small, high-ownership teams with strong engineering culture, where I can grow in system design, cloud, and applied AI while making real impact.

I’m a Senior Backend & AI Engineer with 6+ years of experience building scalable, data-intensive systems and cloud-native platforms. My work focuses on designing distributed architectures, developing reliable backend services, and integrating AI into real-world production workflows.

I primarily work with Node.js (NestJS), Python (FastAPI), and TypeScript, and have strong experience building microservices and event-driven systems. I’ve designed and deployed systems on AWS using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions, along with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and containerisation with Docker.

On the AI side, I build applications using LLMs, LangChain, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, often backed by vector databases. I focus on making AI systems practical—integrating them into existing products, automating workflows, and ensuring they are reliable and cost-efficient in production.

Across my career, I’ve taken products from 0→1 and scaled them further. This includes migrating monolithic systems to microservices, modernising legacy architectures, and building platforms that handle real-world scale and complexity. I’ve worked with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Neo4j depending on the problem space.

I enjoy working in small, fast-moving teams where I can take end-to-end ownership—from system design to deployment and iteration. I’m particularly interested in building scalable backend systems, applied AI products, and infrastructure that enables teams to move faster.
