At the Proposed Building for Makerere University School of Public Health, I interned with Roko Construction Ltd, participating in concrete batching, casting, testing, and curing. I also assisted with finishes and used a dumpy level for surveying.
On the Kampala Flyover Project (Lot 1), I carried out concrete tests and surveyed road camber, sewers, drainage gutters, and curbs. As a Graduate Trainee at Roko Construction Ltd, I interpreted construction drawings, supervised slab activities, and helped correct execution errors.
My civil engineering experience also includes calculating concrete quantities, tracking cast columns and shear walls, and installing pavers. I co-presented research on the technical feasibility of converting plastic waste to fuel by pyrolysis.
