I’m looking for an internship at any law firm to apply my legal research and writing skills. I want hands-on experience in the legal field, sharpen problem-solving, and contribute through practical drafting and case support.
Immaculate Achoka
@immaculateachoka
Third-year law student seeking a legal internship, applying research and writing to solve real-world cases.
What I'm looking for
I’m a motivated third-year Bachelor of Law student at Kabarak University, focused on growing into a practical legal professional. I’m seeking an internship opportunity at Illina to apply my research, writing, and problem-solving strengths in real-world legal work.
Through the Legal Clinic Volunteer Center for Legal Aid and Clinical Legal Education (CLACLE), I provided pro bono legal assistance to underserved communities under faculty supervision, including conducting client interviews. I also supported community outreach by educating 50+ participants on constitutional rights.
I strengthen my legal reasoning through moot court and academic work, including ADR simulations and a public international law moot court memorial. I’ve also developed a policy memo on Devolution and Governance (Constitution of Kenya 2010, Articles 174–200), using legal databases and academic sources to propose reforms for equitable resource allocation.
Professionally, I bring strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and time management, supported by teamwork in university legal aid and ADR activities. I’m comfortable with legal research tools and drafting workflows, and I work with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to organize and present legal information.
