What I'm looking for

I’m looking to grow in GIS/remote sensing work for environmental mapping—especially watershed and coastal management. I want roles where I can use GEE, QGIS/ArcGIS, satellite time-series, and validated field data to support conservation and sustainable planning.

I’m a Geographer and Geomatics specialist building my expertise in GIS and remote sensing, currently completing a Master’s degree focused on Watershed and Coastal Area Management. I translate environmental questions into spatial workflows that support better decisions.

As a Freelance GIS & Remote Sensing Consultant, I use Google Earth Engine (GEE) and QGIS/ArcGIS to process Sentinel/Landsat imagery for land cover classification and environmental monitoring. I also produce high-resolution integrated maps and KML/KMZ datasets for protected areas and nature reserves.

My field work strengthens my results: I’ve collected and verified geolocated spatial data using mobile GIS applications, and I conduct strict spatial data validation, quality control, and temporal analysis before database integration. This helps me cross-reference field-collected data with satellite imagery for biodiversity conservation and environmental mapping.

In my thesis, I explore eco-tourism and sustainable resource management through a case study of the Jbilets Forest Reserve, developing GIS spatial models, vegetation dynamics analysis, and topographical mapping. I’m bilingual in Arabic and English/French, with strong capabilities in stakeholder communication and institutional reporting.
