At University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, I support patients across oncology, haematology and acute care. I provide person-centred care and enhanced observations, and report changes in patients’ health or wellbeing to the nurse in charge.
In oncology and haematology, I support patients along the cancer pathway and contribute to Holistic Needs Assessment conversations. I help identify concerns and share information or signpost patients to relevant services.
At Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, I support people in mental health inpatient services through allocated observations, recovery-focused care and therapeutic activities. I also assist with daily living needs and contribute to care planning and risk assessment with the clinical team.
My experience also includes supported living, community care and earlier operations and logistics roles. I hold a Mental Health First Aider qualification and training in PMVA, safeguarding and the Care Certificate.
