What I'm looking for

Interested in design manager opportunities! Open to a place that provides a supportive environment for new leaders and invests in their people ✌🏼 The perfect opportunity would allow me to manage while still getting my hands dirty with my team—I believe design managers shouldn't be too far from the craft so they can empathize with those they manage.

I'm the Design Lead at Solid Digital in Chicago, previously at Shop Your Way. At Solid, I'm focused on building a fantastic team with a positive culture and compassionate candor. I lead the team by defining UX strategy, and creative direction, and guiding them on client communications. With my team, we run workshops and collaborative meetings with clients to design websites, mobile apps, web apps, etc. And I'm currently doing all of this while traveling the 🌎 with my amazing and supportive boyfriend 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨

I'm passionate about teaching design and helping designers achieve their goals. I'm currently working on growing my reach on Twitter and Instagram so I can continue to teach other designers and help bring them up. I've recently started participating on ADP List and setup a Super Peer account so I can really dive in and mentor as many designers as possible for 2023. I have 2 other major goals for 2023 that align with this passion of mine—I'm building a newsletter to share tips, tricks, resources, and guidance for designers, while also giving myself the space to write my thoughts and improve the way I communicate and think. Second, I am planning to launch a Youtube channel to expand on this effort, where I'll provide similar content.
