I've built scalable software for Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Contactable, e-Thele, and GIS-focused solution providers, spanning fuel-station point-of-sale, identity proofing, physical security, and real-time tracking systems.
At Contactable, I was one of the main backend developers for an identity proofing platform running as Kubernetes microservices. I created and maintained APIs for identity validation, biometrics, document OCR, liveness, sanctions checks, and KYC integrations used by major South African telcos, dealerships, insurers, and retailers.
At e-Thele, I led the design and development of RioSoft, a scalable PSIM platform with plug-in integrations, alarm and event engines, scheduling, and CCTV video. I enjoy planning projects, researching new ideas, taking charge of delivery, and mentoring younger developers.
