What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level backend role where I can build FastAPI REST APIs, integrate PostgreSQL databases, and ship features end-to-end. I want a team that values clean engineering, testing, and continuous improvement.

I’m a software developer centered on backend engineering, currently completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering at HiLCoE School of Computer Science & Technology in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. My focus is building reliable APIs and data-driven systems with Python.

I develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI and design structured endpoints and data models for real-world scenarios. In my self-employed work, I built backend systems for learning and simulation, integrating PostgreSQL for storage and retrieval.

I also enjoy turning messy information into usable data. I’ve used Python web scraping with BeautifulSoup and Requests, then processed and delivered the results through API integrations and automation.

I care about engineering fundamentals—modular programming, version control with Git/GitHub, and practical debugging with tools like Postman. Through self-directed learning in FastAPI and PostgreSQL, I keep pushing for performance optimization and production-ready problem solving.
